Denver Bank Lofts

Denver Bank Lofts is a property of AIMCO which sees $1 billion of property sales each year. The 8-story bank in Denver consists of upper floor apartments and first floor commercial real estate.

OVERVIEW:
The Denver Lofts needed to cut costs and get off of district steam due to budgetary constraints. An energy audit comparing actual load with current sizing and steam payments resulted in a recommended prefab skid package.

SOLUTION

The team designed custom skids with custom rigging arrangements to accommodate difficult install circumstances with a complex flue application.

The solution cored through walls and installed draft control

Equipment included:

  • Four (4) 1,000 MBH condensing boiler packages
  • Two (2) instantaneous domestic hot water packages
  • One (1) hx package for heat pump loop
  • One (1) hx package for perimeter heat cored

RESULTS:

The system has been working flawlessly over the past three years.
